Business Only Broadband Expands into New York City With the Hiring of Alan Rosenberg as President
Westmont, IL – January 3, 2008 – Business Only Broadband (BOB), a carrier-class wireless provider for the financial sector and other large enterprise clients, announced today the expansion of the company’s operations into New York City with the hiring of Alan Rosenberg as President. Rosenberg comes to Business Only Broadband from Global Crossing, where he was global vice president, Federal Business Development.

Rosenberg, who will report directly to Kingston, worked at Global Crossing from 2000 to 2007. Before ascending to his current position, he held a number of positions with the company including regional vice president of sales where Rosenberg led a 250 plus member global sales team that pursued Fortune 1000 clients in the financial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors. Specifically in New York City, Rosenberg oversaw newly acquired top financial accounts and developed and managed the first global financial extranet that interconnected trading floors, exchanges, brokers, clearing houses, and market data makers that generated significant revenue and 1,000 new financial clients.
From 1984 to 2000, Rosenberg worked for AT&T, where he was global sales director, IT outsourcing from 1997 to 2000 leading a sales team focused on large outsourcing engagements including a multi-year outsourcing deal with CitiGroup. Rosenberg holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland, and an M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition, he completed advance business education from the London Business School and Carnegie Mellon University.
