Norman Kenyon Joins Business Only Broadband
Westmont, IL – March 10, 2008 – Business Only Broadband (BOB), a carrier-class wireless provider, announced today that Norman Kenyon has joined the company as national accounts executive. Kenyon will be responsible for sales in the New York Metro area, with a focus on large enterprise clients and the financial sector.
Kenyon joins BOB after a highly successful 10 plus year career as an IT industry executive. Most recently, he was the northeast regional converged IP specialist for Global Crossing. He was responsible for transforming the company’s highly successful sales force from a focus on wholesale and legacy products to a highly skilled, enterprise-centric team, selling converged, IP-based solutions.
“With the opening of our New York City office in January, Norm is a great addition to our team as we expand into this market,” said Alan Rosenberg, president of BOB’s New York City office. “His results-driven experience in the IP market will serve us well.”
Kenyon worked at Global Crossing from 2004 through 2007 and supported sales forces in Boston, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. He was successful in selling into a broad range of industries, including finance, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and technology.
From 1999 through 2003, Kenyon worked for Demon Internet, a UK-based IP provider, where he was vice-president of development for the U.S. Kenyon developed a global product portfolio for Demon Internet and crafted the U.S. peering infrastructure in support of it. Prior to joining Demon Internet, Kenyon was a sales executive at Sprint from 1997 to 1999.
Kenyon holds a B.A. degree from Kenyon College. He resides in Darien, Conn.
